FAYETTEVILLE, GA 3-Day Practicum – 134279
May 12 @ 9:00 am - May 14 @ 4:00 pm
Greetings Homeschooling Parents and Supporters!
Welcome to Parent Practicum 2020!
The Fayetteville Parent Practicum is right around the corner!! Mark your calendars for May 12-14 at the Fayetteville Church of Christ, to engage in three days of encouragement, inspiration, and equipping.
Children are welcome to enjoy three days of the educational fun via student camps designed just for their boundless creativity and bundles of energy!
“Parent Practicum is a FREE, multi-day conference for parents on classical, Christian homeschooling. You’ll find a community of local families, eager to explore the classical model of education and tools that make learning all subjects with all their children satisfying. Parent Practicums are offered around the globe.” (ParentPracticum.com)
The bottom line, Parent Practicum is designed to help us parents be great educators at home, and enjoy this season of learning alongside our young children, budding adolescents, and high-school teens!
Each day we’ll explore and discuss key elements for classical homeschooling around a central theme. This year’s theme is
The Art of Exposition: Reading and Writing.
Our time together will also allow us to:
- focus on the three pillars that support the programs and curriculum: Classical, Christian, and Community,
- reflect upon and consider how to maximize the natural learning tendencies of our children at every age/stage, and
- gain insight into the corresponding programs offered through Classical Conversations that tie it all together.
“I enjoy having us all together in one place! The atmosphere is energized, we get to see old friends and make new ones, and for some of us, we relish in being able to talk and fellowship with other adults for a whole day! (Cue the confetti!) It’s Proverbs 27:17 personified!” – L. Daniel, Support Representative, Challenge Director, and Mom of a 15-year old!
